Just talk to any of us, and get to know Nerdfighters :) Don’t be shy.

This is how I felt at first, and sort of still do. The way Hank and John talked about the Nerdfighter community in their videos, it felt like it was something that existed that I wasn’t really a part of, I was just a fan of them. But I think it probably used to be more of a cohesive thing than it is now, partly since it’s growing pretty fast. And it takes me a long time to really get to know people. I joined “our pants” and I didn’t really feel at home there. Now I feel like I’ve gotten to know a couple of people on tumblr, but I still don’t feel like I’m a part of a Nerdfighter community yet, in any significant way, despite running a popular Nerdfighter blog. Just talking to people doesn’t always work for me, because I’m an introvert, and although I tend to get along with everyone, it takes me a while to feel like I’m actually connecting with people.

I feel that same way. I don’t have a close Nerdfighter friend really (I am friends with a couple in RL but I am not close to them). I think part of the reason is that I feel like I am not as active in the community. I kind of want to play more of a part in Nerdfighteria and help stop world suck more than I do now.

I feel like I haven’t been a Nerdfighter for long enough to know what kind of stuff Nerdfighters do like that, besides donating money to things, and just trying to be generally good people.

I feel the same way. I’ve never participated in any nerdfighter projects. I feel that some people in the community are so tightly connected that I feel less like a nerdfighter because I don’t have that kind of connection with anybody. I do almost nothing except love their videos, John’s books and make the occasional funny gif of John/Hank. Also, living in India is hard to find nerdfighters IRL. But on some level I guess I’m okay with it just being a thing I enjoy on the Internet and maybe I don’t necessarily want it to get any bigger in my life. Which is why I refrain from calling myself a nerdfighter.

- Hank would be some kind of nocturnal thing, like Batman, but even better at multitasking

How about Bat Squid?

Again…remarkable reflection of my actual life.

sylvaria The funniest thing about this is that while Hank is a squid/octopus, he’s still married to Katherine, a human. Also, he’s on a freaking toilet :D

There is no part of receiving a hickey that’s not about receiving a hickey.

Noel and his new friend Diana the artist. Maybe she’s doing the artwork for his new album?

Well, if this is what you get to do, I wish I could do the artwork for his album :P

What Video is the post hank green reblogged from?

Those gifs are from a crash course google hangout that happened in 2012. I love the video because it has John and Hank being themselves and just casually talking. They have such intelligent and thoughtful conversations with each other, that it’s such a delight to watch it :)

You can find the video here.

What do you do as John Green's assistant?

I know :) :)

John, you cute little mature intelligent adult!

I saw fishingboatproceeds' post about Rock Garden, and it reminded me of when I was there last year, but couldn’t find any pictures. But I did find this!
This is a 20 year old photo of me at the Rock Garden, in one of my most favourite cities in the world - Chandigarh <3 :)
